My name is Nada Noujaim.
In May of 2011, I graduated from the University of Hartford with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I am certified to teach students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Although I have a real passion for math, I have decided to pursue my education in the field of Educational Technology. Because of the importance that technology plays in the lives of today’s students, I feel that it is important for me to become aware of the best possible ways to incorporate technology within my classroom. Maximizing student’s abilities to learn through new resources opens up the doors for a new level of education.
Working with children has been a passion of mine from a very early age. There has never once been a doubt in my mind that the field of education is the place for me. Teaching has been a passion of mine ever since I was a child. I love the student interaction and being able to see students learn is such a joy. One of the greatest feelings, I feel, is when a student finally understands something that he/she has been struggling with. The fact that I have helped to make a difference in a child’s life means a lot to me. Sometimes, just the simple smile on a student’s face translates the sheer appreciation that the child has for the help that I have given him/her.
