  2. How did you feel about using Prezi? I've been avoiding it because I feel like it's not very user-friendly and often has too much going on and can be too confusing. Your presentation was great so you obviously found a way to work with it! What's the learning curve like?

    1. Cristin, this is only the second time I've used Prezi, and although the outcome can be visually appealing, I agree that it's not a very user-friendly tool. However, there have been some improvements to the tool since the last time I used it. You can, for example, embed a YouTube video, background music, images, etc. at the click of a button! When choosing a template, there are many options to choose from. Brainstorming, taking a journey, and explaining a topic are just a few of the many ways that you can choose for your presentation to be set up.

    2. Nada, I love how professional this digital storytelling presentation looks! I've used Prezi in another graduate class, and I agree that the interface takes some time to adjust to. It can be tricky figuring out your location, given that the work space is an entire blank canvas, as opposed to a single slide on Power Point. However, your transitions, graphics, font size, and design are impeccable! I love how you incorporated your previous assignments into this presentation -- it serves as a nice way to culminate your hard work in this class!

  3. Nada, I agree with what others are saying about Prezi. I've never used it myself (I've stuck to what's familiar to me, such as PowerPoint presentations...) However, I always thought Prezis were a nice alternative to the traditional slide presentation. I thought yours came out really nice. It's nice to know there are other programs out there if we want to try something a little different.
